Who Am I ?
Like you, I’ve experienced many ups and downs in life’s roller coaster ride. Whether it’s job losses, financial worries, parenting stresses or seeking my true purpose - I’ve been there. And like you, those events impacted my relationships significantly. Not just relationships with other people, but the relationship with myself. Often times I felt depressed or desperate. Even paralyzed and hopeless.

But the pain, sorrow and difficult situations

didn’t last forever.

With the love and support of family, friends and

my counsellor, I navigated through those tough life moments.

In time, I felt hopeful again. My outlook changed for the better. My relationships changed for the better
. I found myself again.

My journey was complicated & difficult. With lived experience, I know how important it is to connect with a deeper understanding of what it means to move forward with someone you trust. Which is why I’m here to help you take incremental, yet meaningful and empowering steps. Steps toward healing old wounds, resolving internal conflicts, connecting to your core values, and reclaiming your internal resources that energize and motivate you.

How I Will Work with You

My integrative therapeutic training and practice includes these modalities and techniques:

Cognitive Behavioural  Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

Counselling allows for a genuine focus on you. I fully listen and seek to understand your story as you share in a caring, safe and judgement-free space. Nothing is more important than for us to establish a trusting relationship. We work collaboratively and we will embark on this journey together so you can:

  • Increase self-awareness -> discover more of who you are

  • Better understand how you perceive and respond to difficult situations

  • Identify and make greater use of your own resources and support network

  • Gain fresh insights on the challenges you face; find freedom by discovering new perspectives; reclaim energy, hope and joy

  • Discover new steps towards a more content and purpose-driven life
